Banning the modified

Defying the European Commission many countries have banned the controversial genetically modified maize MON 810. Germany is the latest country to ban this crop. Ms. Aigner of the Bavaria CSU said that this decision was not political and that there was new data to prove that this crop posed a threat to the environment

A Green Phone

The Nokia 3110 Evolve is the lastest from the Finnish phone maker. This is a first green phone and comes with the bio covers that are made from plants that are over 50 percent renewable. The highlight is the charger. Nokia says that this charger is the most energy efficient. It used 94 % less energy than the energy star requirements.
